We welcome volunteers of all ages and backgrounds! You can register by filling out our contact form with subject "Volunteer Opportunities" or emailing volunteer@chhathutsav.org. We have various roles available including crowd management, medical assistance, food distribution, decoration, and cleanup activities.
Volunteer training sessions are conducted 2 weeks before the festival. All volunteers receive certificates and refreshments during service.
Yes, designated parking areas are available near Juhu Beach, but spaces are limited during the festival. We strongly recommend using public transportation for easier access and to reduce traffic congestion.
Special shuttle services operate from Vile Parle station to the beach during festival days. Parking fees may apply, and vehicles are parked at owner's risk.
Report lost items immediately to our volunteer coordinators at the information desk near the main entrance or call our helpline at +91 98765 43210. We maintain a comprehensive lost and found service throughout the festival.
Lost and found items are kept for 30 days post-festival. We recommend keeping valuables to a minimum and storing important items securely.
There are no age restrictions, but safety is our priority. Children under 12 must be accompanied by adults. Elderly participants and those with health conditions are advised to stay in shallow water areas marked as "Safe Zones."
Lifeguards and medical staff are stationed throughout the water areas. We also have wheelchair-accessible paths to the water's edge.
Absolutely! Devotees are encouraged to bring their traditional offerings including thekua, fruits, and other prasad. We request that all offerings be prepared with eco-friendly materials and no plastic packaging.
Community prasad distribution also takes place after each ceremony. Please use the designated areas for food preparation and consumption.
